Sitting in this Starbucks down the road from where I live I can't help but think how much I love the coffee shop scene... But Starbucks is not a coffee shop I actually enjoy coming to. The music they play here is so out of date I feel time moving backwards, even as I tap along with the beat (when there is any kind of metronomical aspiration of counting beats in the music), which by itself is enough for me to not want to come here. Then only reason I am visiting this morning is because upon moving into my new apartment in a city fairly new to me, I found a Barnes and Noble just down the road.
